Sunshine Stars' manager, Gbenga Ogunbote has said his wards will not disappoint against visiting Algerian side, ASO Chlef. Both sides will clash at the Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode on Sunday in Group A's Matchday 3 of the Caf Champions League.The nation's campaigners are third on the log behind two Tunisian sides, Esperance and Etoile du Sahel leaving the Algerian foes without a point.
Ogunbote told SuperSport.com that his side are up for the "three points or nothing."
"Of course, we can't afford to toy with the game, it's three points or nothing.
"Our chances of heading into the semifinals depend solely on a convincing win against the Algerian side, ASO Chlef. "We must show character and restore some measure of confidence in the team and among Nigerians in our determination to do the nation proud.
"We're mindful of the fact that ASO will be tough and would fight to stay afloat having lost their previous two matches.
"We've done our home work very well, the players are in high spirit and roaring to go, no injury worry among the players.
"We believe luck will smile on us and at the end of the day we'll all celebrate," he enthused.
The Nigerian side's other group rivals, Esperance and Etoile will tango in a supremacy Tunisian derby.
