21 Years Old Nigerian Slumps On The Feild Of Play

Nigerian player Henry Chinonso Ihelewere died on Sunday in Romania during a friendly match between his club CS Delta Tulcea and FC Balotesti.

Henry collapsed with no-one around him just 15 minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Doctors said he suffered a cardiac arrest while playing.
Ihelewere, who hails from Nigeria’s Delta state, suffered a cardiac arrest just 15 minutes after coming on as a second half substitute.
Even though he was taken to hospital, he did not regain consciousness.
Ihelewere had been playing in Romania since 2007 when he joined Farul Constanta.
"What can I say? We're all shocked," Universitatea Cluj boss Cristian Dulca, who previously coached the Nigerian, was quoted as saying in the media. "It's a tragic day for Romanian football.
"I trained him for a year and a half and I can tell you he was a real example in training. He could've become a very good player."
May his soul rest in peace.
